"Tropicana, a withering pool in the middle of Rotterdam, hold an unique story. With this VR experience, one can relive the building's dynamic life during its peak and fall."

During the latter part of the second term during my second year I was assigned to create a AR/VR project starring a location that would be enhanced by said technology. With a team of amazing teammates, we determined to create a VR replication of 'Tropicana', an abandoned tropical swimming paradise while incorporating a narrative story within this setting.
The first few weeks were focused on concept, determining style and gathering reference. We were able to visit and take reference pictures of the location itself within Tropicana itself, allowing us to create a more accurate recreation of the location. Since our project was to be available for most VR headsets, including the Oculus Quest 2, we focused primarily on a low-poly, simplified version. A major aspect of our concept is the ability to travel back in time, effectively creating two versions of Tropicana. One being in it's current decayed state and the second being in it's past prime state.
My part of the project is being the Creative Producer, as part of the leading team, I lead and directed the team through tough decisions and timespans. This position allowed to see things in a bird-eye-view and aid in the production where-ever need be.
